The CCAC is a not-for-profit, volunteer based community service organization which exists to provide a vibrant, cultural experience in the Pineville/South Mecklenburg County area.

Explore your potential by attending our classes, events and by joining our membership program. Members receive discounts on classes, workshops, lectures and events.

Get Involved

You Can Make A Difference! Whether it be your Time, Talent or your Financial Support, we hope you will find some way to participate in the Civic & Cultural Arts Center.  The CCAC is a volunteer-based organization, dedicated to promoting Art and Culture in our area.  To accomplish this goal, you can help in one or more of the following ways:

  • Give the gift of Time!  No special skills are needed to volunteer at one of the events or fundraisers, serve on a committee, help at one of the children’s classes, or assist in the studio office in historic downtown Pineville. Volunteer
  • What about offering your Talents? Are you are a talented artist who is looking for a way to give back to the community, or are you more business minded in the areas of finance, marketing, or strategic planning? You can become involved through teaching or becoming a member of an active Board of Directors. Volunteer
  • Short on time?  Your Financial Support is needed! To keep classes and memberships affordable for the majority of people, operational costs are subsidized by private and corporate donations.  Funding is used to support classes, offer scholarships to deserving students, assist in facility and other fixed expenses, and fund ongoing marketing initiatives.  Monetary and in-kind donations are welcome.
