CCAC at First Night Charlotte!

CCAC is proud to partner with Charlotte Center City Partners in First Night Charlotte to produce a large figure sculpture, as a public performance, for the New Year’s Eve celebration in Uptown Charlotte.  Come and lend a hand or just stop by and cheer your fellow artists on as they create this sculpture from 3:00 p.m. until dusk.  It is worthy to note that this project was devised by our Executive Director, G. Lee Baumgarten, who is constantly in pursuit of cultural opportunities for all.  The project is made possible in part by Jim and Becky Keenan of Network Financial, Inc. and the CCAC. Recycled cables/ metal materials used for this 16' sculpture was donated by Duke Energy and Pineville Telephone Company.
