Beyond The Curve: Celebrating Women's Vision is a diverse cultural mix of regional artists representing various mediums in painting, photography, tapestry, ceramics and sculpture. This free exhibit will be held at the CCAC studio May 15 - June 12, 2009 with a "Meet The Artists" reception 6:30pm-9:30pm on opening night. Gallery hours for this special show are 1:00pm-8:30pm Wednesday-Saturday until June 12. Artwork on display will include oils, watercolor, ceramics, sculpture, tapestry and photography.

"Their styles vary widely", cultural arts center director Lee Baumgarten says of the artists. "We wanted to give their voices free rein through their work, so that each artist could state her own vision in her own way. This is a collective message about the uniqueness of what women experience and perceive.”
