2010 Summer KidZ Arts Program at the Creative Student workshops. Ages: 10-17 yrs.
Scholarships available for motivated young artists!
The Civic & Cultural Arts Center (CCAC) of Pineville is hosting their third annual Creative Students Workshop to be held Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 12:00 noon till 2:30 pm, August 2 through August 27. Orientation will take place on July 24, 2010 from 4pm-5pm. Parents should accompany students to orientation. Work accomplished in the Summer Program will be showcased at a special gallery showing to be held in September, 2010.
Cost for the Summer Workshops is kept to a minimum with the help of corporate sponsorships from Carolinas Medical Center Pineville, Compass Group, the Arts & Science Council and the Town Of Pineville.

Family FUNdamentals
Family FUNdamentals – All Ages
Come one, come all, get painting! CCAC believes you can never start to create art too early. Limber up your wrists and fingers (or toes) and finger paint. Come out and create funky images while having great family fun! Who knows, you might even learn how to explore color, texture, design and cooperation. Who knew Dad could paint a rainbow with his pinkie or that fido was an artist!

Portfolio Extravaganza
This program is tailored for youth between the ages of 14-19.
Passionate about art and want to go to college and beyond in the arts? Then look no further! This program is an aggressive approach to get you the best portfolio possible in your intended area of study before you graduate high school.
If you are open to hard work and commitment, our faculty will prepare you and your portfolio for college. CCAC starts from the ground up and develops the foundation of skills necessary to be competitive and get you scholarships.
Class size is limited to 10 students.
Class and Materials Cost: varies per individual student
Instructional Class: 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Thursdays
Reviews to be scheduled on Saturday mornings as appropriate.
