2013 Summer Kidz Arts Programs at the Creative Student Workshops-Registration Now Open

The CCAC is hosting their 5th annual Creative Students Workshops to be held Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from Monday, July 8th and end on Friday, August 16th.  Orientation will be announced soon with a Repeat Orientation to follow, if needed (Parents should accompany students to orientation).  Ages 8-11 from 10-12(noon) Ages 12-18 from 1pm-3pm Work accomplished in the Summer Program will be showcased at a special gallery showing to be held in September 13, 2013. Occurrence:  Single Class Level of student: Entry-intermediate Objective/Description:  In this 5-hour class, the student artist will create a mosaic for the garden using cut glass tile and other materials. The student will choose from a selection of terra cotta pots, bird bath, pavers and other garden items for their garden mosaic.  The artist will become familiar with cutting techniques, adhesive and grouting (optional) using pre-designed templates.
