Beyond The Snapshot – PAST EVENT
Take your photography to the next level – beyond the snapshot! Using examples, shooting assignments, and critiques, this two-part workshop will help develop your ability to see with the eye of a photographer to create well-composed photographs using natural light in a non-studio environment. This is a non-technical workshop suitable for all cameras.
What you learn
Starting with an understanding of what makes an interesting photograph, Tom Cassen shows you, in Part 1, how to visualize a scene in terms of the basic building blocks of visual design and how you can use these elements to convey emotion and create visual impact in your photographs. Part 2 extends your photographic vision through critique and discussion of the assignments given in Part 1.
