About Us

Mission: The CCAC is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, volunteer based, civic & cultural organization which exists to provide access to the arts for all individuals regardless of experience, age, ethnicity or gender.

The CCAC is currently relocating – please bear with us during our transition.  You may contact Lee Baumgarten directly at (704) 609-0025 for further information.

Vision:  The vision of the CCAC is to advance an emerging cultural arts organization to one which has the infrastructure, support, and programming initiatives necessary with which to teach cultural businesses, artists, institutions, and community developers how to use local assets, art and culture in enriching and strengthening the physical, economic, and social revitalization of the greater Pineville community.  Through the integration of three program areas: art, design and culture, the CCAC aims to provide programs and initiatives for our community including technical assistance, publications, artist rosters, performance outreach, facilities for artists in residence, art in public spaces, project management, and special projects-with the goal of deepening our connections to the places in which we live and work.  Specifically, host year-round events, classes and workshops to engage community; expand role of artists through business development support; engage community members in dialogue, experiences, and learning; increase economic viability of the arts and reposition area as a creative and distinct community.

Who benefits from the CCAC: Everyone including artists, art groups, seniors, Pineville area community organizations, businesses, Downtown Merchant’s Association and Pineville area families.
