Beyond the Curve

Thank you
for supporting the Beyond The Curve women's art show!

The first annual women's art show was a resounding success.
Thank you for all your support.

Beyond The Curve: Celebrating Women's Vision was a diverse cultural mix of regional artists representing various mediums in painting, photography, tapestry, ceramics and sculpture. This free exhibit was held at the CCAC studio May 15 - June 12, 2009. Artwork on display included oils, watercolor, ceramics, sculpture, tapestry and photography.

"Their styles vary widely", cultural arts center director Lee Baumgarten says of the artists. "We wanted to give their voices free rein through their work, so that each artist could state her own vision in her own way. This was a collective message about the uniqueness of what women experience and perceive."
